The BIWFC Europe will host a workshop on fertility control and wildlife coexistence in Europe on the campus of the University of York, in York, UK, on June 17 and 18, 2024.
This two-day event will explore the practical applications of wildlife fertility control in Europe. Day one will be dedicated to talks about the role of wildlife fertility control for different species and contexts: examples include fertility control for native and non-native species in urban and rural areas, rewilding, and fertility control and diseases. Day two will focus on group discussions on the implementation, challenges and opportunities of wildlife fertility control. Attendees will include representatives from public and private sectors, academia, practitioners and non-government organizations.
