The 10th International Conference on Wildlife Fertility Control welcomed researchers, wildlife managers, practitioners, and organizations from around the world for two days of presentations, discussion, and collaboration focused on wildlife fertility control on April 23-24, 2026.

Hosted in Barcelona at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, the conference featured oral presentations, poster sessions, networking opportunities, and international participation representing 23 countries across 6 continents.

The theme of this conference was "Bridging the Gap: From Science to Management". The BIWFC's goal was to bring together professionals from a range of disciplines to share in the latest information available on: research and development of new strategies; refinements and improvements to existing methods; ongoing and completed field studies; identification and delivery systems; practical application case studies; human dimensions of wildlife; stakeholder engagement and analysis; science communication; and social, regulatory and political challenges and concerns associated with the field.

The conference registration included access to all conference sessions, a welcome reception, coffee breaks, and lunches.

Continuing Education Credits

Attendance at the 10th International Conference on Wildlife Fertility Control qualified for earning a maximum of 14.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in Category I of the Certified Wildlife Biologist® Renewal/Professional Development Certificate Program offered by The Wildlife Society. One CEU could be earned for every hour of learning.

The Wildlife Society supports the development and advancement of wildlife professionals throughout their careers. Certification constitutes recognition by TWS that, to its best knowledge, a member meets the minimum educational, experience, and ethical standards adopted by the Society for professional wildlife biologists. TWS’ membership currently consists of more than 2,400 Certified Wildlife Biologists®.

The TWS Certification Program is managed by the TWS Council and a Certification Review Board and is available to applicants worldwide.
