BIWFC staff attended virtually.
The summit included >150 online participants and about 30 presentations.
The main focus of the summit was waste management. There were several presentations on the positive effect of proper waste storage/removal on rodent activity, management trials, community involvement, rodent-borne parasites and pathogens, several mentions of fertility control and a talk about fertility control.

Contraception pilot trial West Harlem: 3 contraceptives (ContraPest, Evolve, Wisdom Good Bites) vs. 1 non-tox bait.
Fertility control + waste management in Kingman Park: study ongoing.
Summerville Rat Birth Control Pilot.
Management and Research
New sensors that map rat activity to check management success before/after intervention, incl. fertility control → option for future management trials.
